Master Sgt. (res.) Itay Yehoshua

Master Sgt. (res.) Itay Yehoshua, a brave and dedicated fighter, tragically lost his life while defending Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7th, 2023. Born and raised in Hadid, Itay exemplified the values of patriotism and selflessness instilled in him from a young age. At the time of his passing, he resided in Raanana with his loving wife Dafna and their daughter Haley, who will forever cherish his memory.


On that fateful day, Itay courageously ventured south with a friend from his unit. Throughout the day, Itay fought valiantly against Hamas terrorists, never faltering in his determination to uphold peace and security.


In addition to his exemplary military service, Itay also possessed an entrepreneurial spirit. He was actively involved in a startup, collaborating with his teammates to bring their innovative ideas to life. Itay's colleagues fondly remember him as a remarkable partner who contributed not only to the concept development but also to the constant improvement and drive of their venture. His passion and dedication were evident in every aspect of his life.


Itay's untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His unwavering commitment to his country and his unwavering love for his family serve as a lasting testament to his character. Itay's memory will forever inspire others to embrace the values he held dear and to honor his legacy by striving for a better future.

May Itay's soul find eternal peace, and may his loved ones find solace in the cherished memories they shared with him.
