Sergeant major (res.) Tal Eilon

Tal was a member of his community security team at Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

Tal and his security team at Kibbutz Kfar Aza fought the ambush of terrorists to save members of their community.  He and his father killed three terrorists before Tal's life was taken.

Tal worked at the port in Ashdod. He loved the sea and he loved his family. He worked nights and very hard to earn enough money to buy a house for his wife and children.

Tal's army officer, Micha Kichka, described Tal as  "a soldier with morals — professional, intelligent and with values."  A close family friend, Meytal Krupnik, said, "Tal Eilon aka "Talski," in many ways is a definition of an Israeli.  Tough on the outside and very soft on the in inside (Sabra). "

Tal is remembered by his wife Mazi and their three children.
