Sgt. Maj. (res.) Eitan Hadad

Eitan Hadad, z”l, was a member of the local security team in Kibbutz Be'eri. He was a first responder to the invasion of Hamas on his home, defending the main road and then the medical clinic of the Kibbutz. Eitan fell protecting his family, his kibbutz, and his homeland, all which he loved so much.

He was eulogized: “Nobody here is laughing now, because there’s no one to make them laugh anymore. If Eitan was here, we would already be laughing at something even during a time like this…Eitan had that energy to take us to a wholesome place, a more alive place.”

Eitan loved to hike, play soccer, he loved to sit with his friends for a cigarette and black coffee in the morning, swimming, playing tennis, and going to local streams.

Eitan worked as a Senior Sales Executive at the Be’eri Print, and volunteered in the Kibbutz’s local security team. He loved his home so much.

Eitan is remembered by his loving community, his family and friends.
