Cpl. Liel Vainshtein
During her weekend off from the army, Vainshtain attended the Supernova music festival and was murdered there by Hamas terrorists.
As a child, Vainshtain starred on the reality TV show “הבנים והבנות” on Arutz HaYeladim. She is remembered as a “beloved and outstanding contestant.” Liel was also a big fan of Eden Hason, and he sang at her funeral, per her family’s request.
Her friend Lee Rubin Danna described her as “a girl with a smile, with joy for life, so mature, so rebellious, so unique.”
Liel is survived by her parents, Elah and Michael, and her sister, Ilya.
